The responsibility we feel towards our customers and the main stakeholders in the agri-food chain has driven us to develop varieties that respond to the needs of an increasingly changing market and also provide profitability to the farmer.

As a demonstration of our continued commitment in Mexico, we inaugurated our cucumber showroom in Calamanda, Querétaro last Tuesday, 19 April.

The event included a stand and a greenhouse in which the extensive range of cucumbers that we currently offer in the country were on display. Our range includes European varieties such as the Zapata, Estrada and Rebecca, others such as the Slicer, Zeus, Telmo, Centauro and also our Persian cucumbers such as the Ensenada, Yekta and Camil. All these are representative of our leadership in cucumbers.

The event was attended by our main distributors in the Central-South zone of the country, as well as customers at the national level. The highly service-oriented sales team traveled to the area in order to respond to possible requests.

Our Area Manager in Mexico, Aarón Blanco, attended the event and together with Arturo Ramos, the regional manager, they offered an insightful presentation on the varieties on display, as well as regarding the nutritional qualities of the crop.

We continue to believe that the keys to our leadership are research and service. Close relationships based on trust and commitment with the main stakeholders in the agri-food chain make the difference, enabling us to offer more profitable varieties in an increasingly demanding market.
