The second edition of our International Field Day (IFD) was held on September 16-19, bringing together a total of 85 distributors in France, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Poland, Moldova, Serbia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Lebanon and Iraq.
The event combined visits to our centres at Les Cases de Barbens, Cabrera, Llavaneres and Barcelona with talks on R&D in Field Crops, the sunflower breeding programme and our forage range.
The IFD this year has been a unique opportunity to explain the Les Cases de Barbens project, our future centre for Field Crops processing and logistics centre. We also took advantage of the opportunity to establish and strengthen our collaboration with key distributors, looking to boost the sale of Semillas Fitó products in Eastern European and Middle East countries.
Currently, sales outside Spain account for 70% of the total Field Crops division turnover.
